Heme exam ~ manual red cell calculation

Going through the calculations in Chapter 14, there isn't an example of a manual red cell count calculation in the chapter, and it is not in the end of the chapter questions. Although its not hard to figure out, do you want us to know this for the exam.

Hi Tara:

How relevant is a manual RBC count? What tests do we tend to perform instead which have more value clinically? I hate to say yay or nay what is on the exam...but I'm sure you can figure it out.
